Coaching Agreement

Wholeness Restored, LLC — Nichole King, Trauma-Informed Coach

This Coaching Agreement outlines the terms of a professional coaching relationship between Nichole King (“Coach”) and the undersigned client (“Client”).

1. Nature of Coaching

Coaching is a confidential, collaborative relationship that supports the client’s personal, relational, or professional development. It is forward-focused and based on principles of self-determination, resilience, and accountability.

Coaching is not therapy, not counseling, not consulting, and not medical treatment. It does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions. Clients are responsible for seeking additional or alternative professional support if needed.

2. Confidentiality and Legal Boundaries

The Coach holds client identity and session content in confidence, with the following exceptions:

  • If required by law (e.g., court order or subpoena)

  • If there is a risk of serious harm to the client or others

  • If disclosure is required to report abuse or illegal activity

  • If name and email are needed for ICF credentialing audit purposes

To maintain the integrity of the coaching relationship, the Coach does not testify in court or provide records for legal proceedings. By entering into coaching, the Client agrees not to subpoena the Coach or her records.

3. Responsibilities

The Coach agrees to:

  • Create a safe, supportive, trauma-informed environment

  • Uphold ICF ethical standards and confidentiality

  • Honor session times and communicate with clarity and respect

The Client agrees to:

  • Be responsible for their own actions, choices, and progress

  • Attend sessions as scheduled and communicate proactively

  • Understand that coaching is voluntary and outcomes are not guaranteed

4. Scheduling, Fees, and Payment

  • Sessions are scheduled by mutual agreement and conducted virtually unless otherwise arranged

  • Fees will be clearly communicated before services begin

  • The Coach reserves the right to adjust rates with advance notice

Payment Options:

  • Payment is typically due before or at the time of service

  • Clients may opt into autopay, where payment is processed at the time of each session

  • If packages are offered and purchased, they must be used within six (6) months, unless otherwise agreed in writing

Payments are non-refundable once coaching begins, except in rare cases at the Coach’s sole discretion.

5. Cancellation and Missed Sessions

  • Clients are asked to give at least 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling or cancellation

  • Missed or late-canceled sessions may be forfeited

  • Emergencies will be considered with flexibility and compassion when possible

6. Communication Between Sessions

  • Clients may contact the Coach for brief logistical or check-in messages via email or secure messaging

  • Full coaching conversations are reserved for scheduled sessions

  • The Coach will do her best to respond promptly but may not be available immediately

7. Termination

Either the Client or the Coach may terminate the coaching relationship at any time. If sessions were pre-purchased and unused, the Coach will determine how to handle them based on context and communication.

8. Consent to Share Minimal Information with ICF

In the event of an ICF credentialing audit, the Coach may be required to share client names and email addresses only. No coaching content or personal details will be disclosed without additional written consent.

9. No Guarantees

Coaching supports transformation, but results vary. The Client is responsible for their own choices and outcomes.

10. Agreement

By entering into coaching, the Client acknowledges reading and agreeing to the terms in this document. This agreement is binding from the date of consent and remains in effect for the duration of the coaching relationship.
